Q: Are the fire extinguishers full and ready for use?

A: Yes, all are full and sealed with an anti tamper tag. The majority of our extinguishers come ready for use straight out of the box, although some models may require hoses to be attached as they are sometimes left off for safe transit.

Q: Are the extinguishers kitemarked?

A Yes all fire extinguishers are kitemarked to BSEN3 (the European Standard) unless stated on an individual product description.

Q: Do you offer annual service contracts.

A: No, but we have access to a database of approved maintenance company's so we can advise you of your local firm.

Q: Why are the extinguishers so cheap? Is it because the quality is poor?

A: No, all extinguishers are kitemarked and manufactured to BSEN3 which is the required quality standard. They are bought in bulk and sold without the high mark up required to pay for engineers wages and service vehicles.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Your access to and use of www.nationwidefireextinguishers.co.uk , ("The Website") is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website, you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately stop using the Website.

ADVICE

This website offers some general guidance but does not constitute direct advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision. Nationwide Fire Extinguishers do not accept responsibility for any incorrect usage of any of the products sold. It is the customer’s responsibility to select, locate, use and maintain equipment in accordance with current legislation. We recommend using a BAFE registered company to service your fire equipment in accordance with BS5306 part 3 and future amendments. (Refer to www.bafe.org.uk to find your local BAFE registered extinguisher maintenance company.)
 

CHANGES TO WEBSITE

Nationwide Fire Extinguishers reserves the right to:
Change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed your acceptance of such change.

DELIVERY TIMES

Providing orders are placed before 12 noon we operate a next day delivery service where possible. But please allow 3 working days for delivery. However in the event we are out of stock we will send the items as soon as possible.
Delivery for certain products may take longer but an estimate will be displayed in the product description if known delays are anticipated.

RISK OF LOSS 

All items purchased from the website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. ie. the risk of loss and title for such items pass to the customer upon delivery to the carrier. Please note, some small items may be packaged inside other larger packages for safe and economical transit.

DELIVERY CHARGES

The delivery charge is a fixed price ranging from £4.50 to a maximum of £9.50 + VAT. This is automatically calculated in the shopping cart for you. (e.g: Typically lighter products such as small signs cost £4.50 to deliver and heavier products such as fire extinguishers cost £9.50.)

The customer agrees to pay for any loss, or extra cost incurred by Nationwide Fire Extinguishers through the instructions, or lack of instructions, or through failure, or delay in taking delivery, or through any act or default on the part of the customer, its servants, agents or employees. It is the customers responsibilty to be available to take delivery of the goods between the hours of 8am to 5pm

RETURNING GOODS

Any used products will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
In regard to returning goods, if you wish to return the goods which are not faulty we will accept returns up to 7 working days after you have received the goods.
The goods must be unused, unopened and in the same condition in which they were delivered. We reserve the right to charge a 10% commission fee for refunding the money. Delivery charges are not refundable.
PLEASE NOTE: The cost and responsibility of returning non faulty or unwanted goods will also be the responsibility of the customer. We can arrange this on your behalf but the cost will be deducted from you refund. We will only issue the refund once the goods are returned to us and we have agreed that the goods and packaging are in a satisfactory re-sellable condition and have not been used.
Whilst we will make every attempt to remedy this type of situation, we must emphasise it is everyone's interest to ensure the correct products are being ordered and suited for your particular requirements.

DAMAGED GOODS

Please check for damages immediately before signing for the goods. If any damage is found, this must be noted on the couriers paperwork before signing for the goods. Otherwise the courier will not accept resonsibility and will not process any claims for damages meaning you will not be able to receive a replacement or refund from us. You can also refuse damaged goods without signing for these. Any transport damage found after the courier has left, is not covered and claims cannot be processed. We reserve the right to remedy the situation by sending replacement parts if possible. If you return an item as "damaged" which is subsequently found not to be you will be liable for the delivery charges where applicable. All goods are checked and packaged for safe transit. We make every effort to deliver our goods in an undamaged condition.

REFUNDS

Refunds are given by credit or debit cards and a credit receipt will be sent. Orders paid for by cheque or cash will be refunded by Company cheque. Please note we reserve the right to impose a 10% handling charge on all returns.

CHEQUE PAYMENTS

Please make cheques/postal orders payable to Nationwide Fire Extinguishers and send to the contact address together with your order and your contact details by selecting the invoice option on the payment page.

IMAGES

The images of products shown are a guide and products may vary slightly from that shown on the website. Unless a specific manufacturer is stated we reserve the right to change suppliers at our discretion.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

None of these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

SITE SECURITY

This website uses world pay’s secure console for all credit card and debit card transactions.

If, however, you would prefer to arrange an order or pay over the telephone, you can do this by calling us on 08712002384 during normal working hours.

This website has been enhanced to enable you to purchase our products online. We have a no-nonsense ordering system: simply make your purchases, and then pay at the checkout. You do not have to register to use this site.

PRIVACY

We will never release your company details to third parties or other sources.
