Fire safety information, instruction and guidance for staff is a requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.  Nationwide Fire Extinguishers fire safety training courses aim to help you meet your obligations.

Our fire awareness and extinguisher training course is aimed at anyone who may have to use a fire extinguisher in the workplace, school, colleges, hotels, hospitals etc.  It provides those attending the course with fire safety awareness and increases their confidence in the action to take should a fire occur.    The fire safety training course is held at your business premises and contains sections of the theory of combustion, causes and how a fire ignites, types of fire extinguishers and their uses, and how to safely use a fire extinguisher.  Candidates use a live fire training unit to learn how to use a fire extinguisher safely and correctly.  All course material, handouts and extinguishers are provided for a group of up to 12 candidates per course and delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.  This course complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Health & Safety legislation.

Our Fire Warden fire safety training course fulfils the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and teaches those who have a key role with the management of fire safety in the workplace. This course covers the use of fire extinguishers using a live fire training unit as well as more in depth training on fire safety awareness issues.  After attending the course, your staff will understand the role of the Fire Warden, the importance of fire risk assessments, and be able to carry out fire drills.  They will have a greater awareness of the dangers of fire and smoke and an awareness of all fire safety measures in the workplace.  The course also covers identifying and operating the correct fire fighting equipment, potential fire hazards in the workplace and an understanding of human behaviour in fire.  Our fire warden course is held for a maximum of 12 candidates per course (Maximum 2 courses per day) and is held on your premises to reduce downtime.
